Winkflash Photo Books

Hey there everyone! Are you all ready for Christmas? I've got a lot of wrapping to do, but we finished our shopping on Monday!!!! Where we live there aren't a whole lot of options so it's kind of a "trek" to go do any shopping (Christmas or not!!!) Anyway, in some of my online shopping I've discovered these new photobooks. They are from a place called "Winkflash" and they are SO reasonably priced! They offer 3 different sizes and a variety of cover colors. You can't customize your cover like you can in "Shutterfly" but that's okay with me for the price! When I very first started digiscrapping I ordered a 9x12 book from Winkflash and it seemed to be great quality. The only reason I changed to Shutterfly was because I wanted the square size, but now Winkflash has them!!!!

As with most online photo centers, to create an account is free, so go sign up and check it out! It'll be worth your time!!

It's Been a While...

Sorry it's been so long since the last post...I think time flies no matter what you're doing! Well, I have something fun to share with you! Since my laptop crashed (for the second time this year...ugh!) I got a new one and this new one has Windows Vista. I was so sad because when I had XP I had this Windows "Power Toy" called the Image Resizer. I don't know if any of you have heard of it or used it, but it's perfect for resizing pictures and pages for e-mail, gallery uploads, blogs, etc. It's so simple to use, all you do is right click on the image you want to resize, choose resize image, and select small, medium, or large. So SLICK!!!! Anyway, I was really sad to lose it because I used it ALL THE TIME!!! But my husband being the wonderful husband he is found one for VISTA as well! I just thought I'd share the download links with you because they are so simple and easy to use!

SO SO SO sorry about the annuocement of the page contest winner. We kind of forgot that the 22nd was Thanksgiving and that we were going to be away for a couple days! A New Contest!

Wow, has it really been a week since we posted last? Wow...time flies! We've been busily working on getting our Christmas Kits done and we're about there. Hopefully by the end of this week we'll have them up for you to see.

That said, it's about time to have another contest! We've decided to have you lift one of the pages Brooke (one of our CT girls and good friends) did. Here are the rules...scrap your lift on her layout below using products from GG Digital Designs and post it to our gallery by November 21st (that's one week from today). Layouts using only freebies will not be eligible however freebie items may be used in your layout. The prize will be one free item of your choice! We'll announce the winner here on the 22nd and notify the winner by e-mail so she can claim her prize! Well, here's the layout, isn't it so cute? Not to mention she's an AMAZING photographer too!

Just thought we'd share our latest Halloween pages! Our kids are so excited for Halloween...it's funny how the older you get the holidays aren't QUITE as fun, and then you have kids and the fun starts all over again! We took these pictures of our "babies" (Katie's is still a REAL baby, mine isn't, but she still is to me!) and scrapped them immediately! Don't they make the cutest little animals!

Bad Bloggers...

Hey there girls! Sorry for the lack of updates lately! We've had lots of family stuff going on so that takes us both away!!!! Our First Challenge!

So, we were racking our brains, trying to think of a super fun challenge for you. I happened to be browsing Old Navy, looking for a Halloween costume for my little boy. This page popped up and I thought "hmmm....that could make a cute layout". So we went ahead and made a template for you all! (It was our first one!)



THE CHALLENGE...
Create a page using the template and at least 4 items from GG Digital Designs and upload it to a gallery of your choice. Post a link to your layout in the comments section of this post by September 19th. Then we, along with our cute Creative Team will get together and decide who should get a $10 gift card to our store!
